Why do I hear oxygen escaping from the fill
connector after removing the cylinder? Is this safe?
Yes, this is perfectly safe. In order to provide the
ability to “top off” cylinders and make the connection
easy, the trapped pressure must be allowed to bleed off.
Can I operate the iFill in a cupboard / wardrobe
/ closet?
No. There is not enough air flow in a cupboard. However,
the iFill may be stored in a cupboard when not in use.
Can I stop filling a cylinder before it is
completely full?
Yes, the cylinder can be removed at any time during the
filling process. A partially filled cylinder can be
re-attached to the iFill unit and “topped off”.
Can I fill cylinders at night while I sleep?
Yes. Simply connect the cylinder and press start. Once
the iFill completes the fill process, it will stop
automatically and go into standby mode.
How often should the two gross filters be
cleaned?
Once a week. Wash in warm soapy water and rinse
thoroughly.
Can I use any kind of cylinder with the iFill?
No. The iFill cylinders must be used with the iFill as
they have a proprietary connection that makes other
cylinders incompatible.
How long does it take to fill the iFill
cylinders?
Please see the downloadable brochure for the approximate
fill times, please note that fill times may vary
depending on environmental conditions, such as altitude.
